Dear Friends,

During this difficult time, we very much wanted to revive the creative atmosphere and ease the tension in society by presenting the comedy performance “The Lovers.”

The entire touring cast had already received their visas, flight tickets had been purchased, hotels had been booked, and so on. However, certain “well-wishers” drew the attention of various authorities to the participation of Mr. Glushko in the production—a person with a controversial reputation—and demanded that his visa be revoked. This frightened Mr. Glushko himself, and he categorically refused to travel, citing concerns for his personal safety. Unfortunately, our assurances that his stay in Germany would be safe were unsuccessful.

Subsequently, the producer and part of the group decided to cancel the entire tour without informing us. We learned about this only at the last moment, shortly before their scheduled departure, which ultimately did not take place. In doing so, they disregarded both the damage to our reputation and our financial losses, and—most importantly—the expectations of our audience.

In light of the above, we sincerely apologize and hope for your understanding.
