Throughout the performance, the stage becomes a remarkable place — where love is born and where it fades away. It is difficult to predict how each story will end; they are all unpredictable.
The novellas by Valentin Krasnogorov, differing in style and mood, are united by a common theme: the complexity of relationships within a couple. Together with the characters, the audience searches for answers to deep and relevant questions. In the novella “The Charms of Infidelity,” the lovers try desperately to hide their relationship, and their rare meetings become absurdly comical, as the fear of being exposed outweighs their secret passion.
We, as humans, are not perfect. We are often overtaken by passions and temptations. Are we capable of resisting our desires? How much do we value those who stand beside us?
Light dialogue, paradoxical plots, comedic and almost farcical situations, combined with deep lyricism, keep the audience engaged until the very last moments of the performance.
